Water and Weight Loss

I've heard that its possible to lose weight just by drinking water - is there any truth in this? A friend told me that all I have to do is just carry on as normal, not making changes to what I eat or doing loads of exercise. Hope someone's gonna tell me this is true!

Sorry to Disappoint You!
by: Caroline

By drinking water before a meal many people find that their appetite is reduced, so they eat less than they might have done otherwise. If you do this through out the day, not drinking excessively but taking in around 1-1.5 litres a day, then you'll probably find you lose weight gradually.

The best way to lose weight is to eat a balanced healthy diet and to take some form of exercise on a regular basis. Don't beat yourself up over this - find out about starting a home exercise routine and follow these healthy eating guidelines. Good luck and if you need any further help be sure to come back here and ask!
