Review of "Walk away the Pounds" DVDs by Leslie Sansone
I'm really happy to see that there are other fans of Leslie Sansone's workout videos. I've tried many but Leslie's are by far the best.
Her walking workouts are perfect for any level of fitness, from couch potato to very active and "in shape" physically person.
It was the beginning 1 mile walk that helped me tremendously get going again after a stroke left me in a pretty lousy condition.
When I saw an infomercial for the series, I thought "I could do that!" since the walking and moves can be adjusted for intensity, plus there are 1 to 2 pound hand weights that can be added to a walk for additional resistance training.
With the upbeat music and adjustable intensity (plus longer walking workouts that increase in intensity) I really was able to improve my energy and endurance levels.
I eventually got up to doing more intense walks and the feeling of accomplishment has been incredible.
I especially love Leslie's personality. I really feel that she is my friend, walking with me and keeping me going - which I haven't felt with other exercise video instructors at all!
