Natural Healing with Dandelion

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinalis) is good for the liver and kidneys. Find out what other uses has.

Parts used

Are used medicinally before flowering and root. The active ingredients are bitter principles, triterpenele, sterols, flavonoids, tannins, potassium, zinc and B vitamins group

Medicinal Effects

Bitter principles increase appetite and stimulate bile secretion. They say they are anti-inflammatory. Potassium is a diuretic and the combination of active ingredients has a positive impact on the tissue.

Uses

Dandelion tea stimulates the liver and kidneys. Secretion of bile and the urine increases. Treatment based on dandelion tea purifies the body and reduce rheumatic pain. Also, patients with rheumatism should apply dandelion on painful joints. Treatment based on dandelion tea strengthens your tissue. Dandelion leaves are good in salads and are rich in vitamins and minerals, thus doubling the successful treatment with dandelion.

Note! White juice (latex) of dandelion stalk can produce poisoning if used improperly.

Tea

Pour a cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of dandelion, boil one minute. Left to infuse for 15 minutes, then strain. To support the treatment, consume a cup of dandelion salad at least once a week.

Mixture of tea

Mix one teaspoon of dandelion, 1 2 teaspoon of blackthorn blossom, 1/2 teaspoon of mint and 1/2 teaspoon of violets. Drink one cup morning and evening for treatment for rheumatism.

Poultices

Pour a small amount of boiling water over 3 tablespoons dandelion root, boil 5 minutes. Crush to obtain a paste. Spread the paste on a cloth and apply on the wrist. Cover with a towel.

Dandelion Syrup

Pour a cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of dandelion leaves, 2 teaspoons dandelion root, boil one minute. Leave to infuse for 15 minutes, then strain. Then boil with sugar until it becomes five ounces of syrup. Pour into a jar with tight lid and eat a tablespoon a day.
