Home Remedies for Insect Bites and Stings....here are some useful essential oils that can be used successfully to treat various insect bites:
Chamomile oil;
Eucalyptus oil;
Lavender oil;
Thyme oil.
Do not forget to combine them with vegetable oils such as almond oil, jojoba and other vegetable oils.
Bee stings
This can be very painful and can cause fever, headaches and even allergies. Try to remove the needle and apply a cold compress containing chamomile essential oil (in combination with vegetable oil). Keep the compress on the affected area for several hours, if possible. Apply 1 drop of this essential oil to the affected area 3 times daily for 2 days.
Flea bites
In this case you must be careful to infection. You have to wash the affected area with antibacterial soap and treat it with eucalyptus essential oil (do not forget to combine it with vegetable oil). You can apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon cider vinegar 2 drops of essential oil of thyme.
Mosquito bites
These bites can cause discomfort that last for several days. Use lavender essential oil in their treatment.
Spider bites
Some spider bites can be very dangerous, but most can be treated with a mixture of 1 teaspoon of alcohol, 3 drops of lavender essential oil and 2 drops of essential oil of chamomile. Apply this mixture 3 times daily for 3 days.
Black widow spider is very dangerous. If you are stung by one, apply 10 drops of lavender essential oil to the affected area every 2-3 minutes, until you reach the hospital. Lavender oil is famous for its ability to neutralize the poison of spiders. If you are stung by a spider, go immediately to the doctor.
Wasp stings
These stings are very painful. Treat them with a mixture of cider vinegar or wine vinegar, 2 drops of lavender essential oil and 2 drops of essential oil of chamomile. Apply on affected area 3 times daily for 3-4 days.
Tips:
When you prepare yourself / remedies, store them in tightly closed cans to keep them fresh.
Test, always mix a small portion of skin before applying on large areas, to avoid allergic reactions.
