by Winnie Saunders
(California, USA)

Peppermint is one of the most popular herbs and that due to special flavor and the benefits it brings to health. It has sedative properties, disinfectant and healing and can be used in digestive problems, respiratory, liver, gall bladder (bile), circulation and the list goes on.

Peppermint balances skin pH level, which inhibits excessive production of skin oils. Due to astringent properties, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, peppermint reduces the appearance of acne, blackheads, redness and irritation of the skin.
