Exercise and the Feel Good Factor
There's no doubt that exercise can make you feel good - activity increases the levels of endorphins which are released by the brain - Wikipedia says:-
They are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus in vertebrates during exercise, excitement, pain, consumption of spicy food, love and orgasm, and they resemble the opiates in their abilities to produce analgesia and a feeling of well-being.

My favorite way to kick stress out of the window is to walk - with my dogs and camera. As soon as we set off the stress begins to ebb away, watching my four-legged buddies joyfully running around, and taking photographs - perfect!
Whatever form of exercise you choose, enjoy it! If you don't want to go walking, cycling etc then consider starting a home exercise routine. Other forms of stress management are useful too, such as meditation and relaxation techniques, but they don't have the added benefits to your body.
