Eating Raw Garlic

by Danny Rodgers
(New York, USA)

Eating Raw Garlic....first of all, it must be said that garlic is a good source of magnesium, vitamin B6, C and B1. Also is rich in phosphorus, selenium, calcium, potassium and iron.

Reduces risk of heart disease

The main reason why you should eat it is to reduce the risk of heart disease. Studies have shown that a diet rich in garlic lowers blood pressure, blood thinners, lowers "bad" cholesterol and increases "good" cholesterol. All these benefits are due to pungency, rich in sulfur containing compounds. These sulfates are designed to relax blood vessels and improve circulation.

Garlic has natural anti-oxidant property, so it helps the body fight against free radicals. Vitamin C, selenium and manganese are powerful antioxidants that protect the heart.

Anti-Inflammatory

Can be used as anti-inflammatory. It is advisable to eat garlic when you have cold, flu or asthma attack, where appropriate. Garlic kills bacteria, even those that are drug resistant. Therefore, garlic has antibiotic properties due to allicin content. This compound is produced only when the clove is cut or crushed.

Reduces risk of colon cancer

Some studies show that eating garlic several times a week, the risk of colon cancer is reduced. Destroying the bacteria H. pylori that is in the stomach, it is possible that garlic reduce stomach cancer. Garlic can combat complications of diabetes, namely: nephropathies, retinopathies. This is due to the rich content of antioxidants.

Indicated in diets

Also, studies show that garlic can be used successfully in diets, because allicin prevents weight gain, besides lowering blood pressure, insulin and triglyceride levels.

Acne cure

Many people believe that garlic helps to cure acne. Eating garlic helps the body eliminate toxins and thus to reduce acne.

Can give positive results against sore feet caused by poor blood circulation, for high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
