Common New Year Resolutions

What do you think are the most common New Year Resolutions?

Giving up smoking and losing weight probably share the No.1 position for resolutions made and also for least kept.

Taking more exercise - January often sees a big rise in new gym memberships.

Spending more time with the family and keeping in touch with friends - is this guilt kicking in?

Cutting down on alcohol - too many festive hangovers leaving you out of sorts?

Getting better educated - taking a college course to improve employment opportunities, or learning a new language.

Getting out of debt - clearing credit cards after big pre-Christmas spending sprees. It was fun at the time but reality soon kicks in once the decorations come down.

Clearing out your closet, garage or office is very motivating - a fresh start to the year, clutter free - stress free!

Getting organized - after you've done with clearing out this one should follow on naturally.

Starting a savings scheme - however small the amount this is a really good habit to get into.

Can you identify with some of these? Every one of the possible resolutions here can have an impact on your health. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn't mean making major shifts in the way we live, but the simple things can make a big difference.

Several of these are on my list!

I can definitely identify with most of these! I try to limit my list of resolutions to about 5, that way I stand more chance of keeping them!
